Delegation from Northeast State Grid Corporation of China visits R&D Nester
On 20 May, a delegation from State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) met with R&D Nester in its facilities in Sacavém.
Mr. Xin Zhang, R&D Nester's Chairman, was the host of this meeting that welcomed the representatives of this Chinese northeast branch delegation from SGCC.
Northeast SGCC representants were Mr. Zhang Jiankun, President, Mr. Li Qun, Deputy Director of Power Dispatching & Control Center, Mr. Zhang Hongpeng, Division Chief of New Energy of Power Dispatching & Control Center and Mr. Du Shibo, Specialist, New Energy Management of Power Dispatching & Control Center.
This meeting addressed topics such as high penetration of new energy integration into power grid, energy markets, Virtual Power Plants and storage technology.
R&D Nester Team made an explanation of the work developed, presenting the projects in which has been involved.
This initiative and interest for R&D Nester' activities developed in national and international projects are yet another demonstration of the strategic partnership established with SGCC, which leads to close cooperation between the two companies, both in terms of experience sharing and in research and development.
