Nuno Souza e Silva, Managing Director of R&D Nester, Centre for Research and Development created by REN and the State Grid Corporation of China, attended the Open Day of presentation of the The Executive Master in Management with Specialization in Innovation Management, that took place last May 28 in INDEG University Library premises.

The Executive Master in Management with Specialization in Innovation Management, in which the R&D Nester is a strategic partner, aims to prepare participants for the development of global careers based on management innovation, the creation of new products and services and in launching initiatives (intra)entrepreneurs. Priority will be given to the preparation of contingency plans in organizations - innovation roadmaps, innovation plans and business plans - by crossing the interests and personal and professional needs of the participants with the theoretical and practical approaches of the curriculum.

For Nuno Souza e Silva, Managing Director of R&D Nester, this Executive Master "is a course where it combines academic education with business practice in an area where Portugal can and should give cards in training." In this sense, Souza e Silva also believes that the practical contribution of this course promoted by INDEG-UTL can "bring an added value to this partnership, with the caveat that this cooperation will also provide the R&D Nester follow the latest practices taught in this matter".

These strategic partners are a reference in innovation management, and as a whole represent different economic activities, leading to increased interaction between the academic and the business practice of course, still optimizing the quality of executive education of it and contributing to the disclosure of cases and business innovation management processes.
