R&D Nester published two papers in DEMSEE Conference 2015 (10th Jubilee International Conference on Deregulated Electricity Market Issues in South Eastern Europe), held in Budapest on 24th and 25th of September.

"Wind power forecast uncertainty using dynamic combination of predictions" and "TSOs and DSOs Collaboration: The Need for Data Exchange" are the titles of the articles that result of the work that is being held in the scope of two develloping projets by R&D Nester.

The first one, gave notice of the improvements to the electrical system, resulting from the use of combination of different sources of prediction and for a more adequate system operation.

With the second article, R&D Nester presented the common challenges facing Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and Distribution System Operators (DSOs), highlighting the need for a stronger cooperation between them. Having into consideration a more structured data exchange between TSOs and DSOs, in line with future European regulation, the outcomes demonstrate the benefits, in several planning and operational power systems' areas, arising from a more efficient TSO-DSO collaboration.

O R&D Nester apresentou, na Conferência DEMSEE 2015 (10th Jubilee International Conference on Deregulated Electricity Market Issues in South Eastern Europe), dois artigos no âmbito de projetos que está a desenvolver (Projetos 1 e 4). 

 "Wind power forecast uncertainty using dynamic combination of predictions" e "TSOs and DSOs Collaboration: The Need for Data Exchange" foram os artigos apresentados nesta Conferência que se realizou, em Budapeste, nos dias 24 e 25 de Setembro.

O primeiro artigo deu a conhecer o trabalho desenvolvido nos últimos meses sobre as melhorias para o sistema eléctrico, resultantes da utilização da combinação de diferentes fontes de previsão e para uma mais adequada operação do sistema

Com o segundo artigo, o R&D Nester apresentou os desafios comuns com os quais os operadores da rede elétrica de transporte e distribuição (TSOs e DSOs) se deparam, destacando a necessidade de uma colaboração melhorada entre ambos os operadores. Tendo por base uma troca de informação mais estruturada entre TSOs e DSOs, seguindo os princípios da futura regulamentação europeia, os resultados alcançados confirmam os benefícios, em diferentes áreas de planeamento e operação da rede eléctrica, decorrentes de uma colaboração mais eficaz entre operadores de rede.
