R&D Nester was present at the Africa Energy Forum
The Meeting brought together entities from the energy sector in Africa and the governments of Portugal and several African countries
R&D Nester, REN & State Grid R&D center, participated, from June 11 to 14, at the Africa Energy Forum (aef), with its own stand. "The African Energy Forum was an excellent opportunity to promote R&D Nester and disseminate its capabilities to the entire African continent in a single event, "said Nuno Souza e Silva, director of R & D Nester.
The Africa Energy Forum, which is sponsored by the Portuguese Republic and Portugal Energia, was held for the first time in Portugal. The Forum brought together entities from Africa's energy sector to form partnerships, identify opportunities and drive the sector collectively. "The participation of more than 20 African ministers and governments worldwide, in addition to the Minister of Economy, Minister of Energy Transition and Secretary of State for Energy, and the European Commission's Director General for Energy, Dominique Ristori, provided the event with a high visibility and strong reputation that benefits all participants" stated R&D Nester's Director.
On the 13th, Nuno Souza e Silva also participated in a panel discussion regarding "The Rise of Wind Projects in the Energy Mix", with the Director General of Energy of Cape Verde and other actors of the sector as manufacturers and promoters of wind projects in Africa.
