O R&D Nester esteve presente na COP24 e participou do evento GEIDCO (Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization), no qual foi divulgado o relatório "Action Plan of Global Energy Interconnection to Promote the Implementation of the Paris Agreement".
O tema do evento foi "Building Global Energy Interconnection, Promoting the Implementation of Paris Agreement".
No mesmo evento, houve a Cerimónia de Abertura da Think Tank Alliance para GEI (Global Energy Interconnection).
O evento contou com a presença de Ovais Sarmad, Secretário Executivo Adjunto da UNFCCC, Liu Zhenya, Presidente da GEIDCO e Sir Philip Lowe, Presidente Executivo do World Energy Trilemma, Conselho Mundial de Energia.
