ONENET GENERAL ASSEMBLY - THE LAST YEAR OF THE PROJECT
Last month
of June took place the General Assembly of OneNet Project was hosted by
the Florence School of Regulation (EUI) in Florence, Italy.
OneNet
(One Network for Europe) - "TSO-DSO Consumer: Large-scale demonstrations of innovative
grid services through demand response, storage and small-scale (RES) generation"
is a unprecedented project being the largest project founded by
Horizon
2020 in the topic of integration and cooperation TSO-DSO-Consumer, involving 70
partners from different countries, of which REN and R&D Nester
are part.
The purpose of this project is to create a fully replicable and scalable architecture that allows the entire European electrical system to function as a unique system in which a variety of markets enable the universal participation of different stakeholders,
regardless
of their physical location - at all levels, from small consumers to large
producers. This project lasts for 3 years and half (October 2020 to March
2024).
During 2 days meeting were discussed the achievements and complications from all the Work Packages (WPs), focusing mainly into the horizontal WPs and the missing inputs required from the demo pilots.
R&D Nester made part of the presentation related with the Western Cluster demo, where its developments related with the flexibility and operational planning use cases were announced to the audience.
The ONENET general assembly was also a great moment to cooperate actively
and provide feedback to the colleagues responsible for the development of the
ONENET Connector, that is the crucial element of the system that allows the
connection of multiple stakeholders
to an unique system in which a variety of markets enable their universal
participation.
