R&D Nester presents communication at CONIBEN 2019
During two days (May 30th and 31st) Lisbon is going to hold the Ibero-Brazilian Energy Conference - CONIBEN. This conference focus on the subject of "Sustainability and Energy Transition: new directions for the energy sector". Is the result of a multi-disciplinary initiative that brings together Brazilian, Portuguese and Spanish specialists from different professional and scientific fields, supported by companies and other organizations.
The conference is sponsored by REN, EDP, CEMIG, ENEL and Iberdrola.
CONIBEN combines several key presentations, talk shows, projects/products exhibition and research work papers. Different players from the Industry and governmental authorities are going to be present.
R&D NESTER is going to present a research study regarding the use of sky cameras to improve the solar forecast performance at the local level. A case study with five solar photovoltaics sites is used with one year dataset to calculate the effect in the solar power forecast.
This conference is a good opportunity to discuss the trends in the Industry, not only concerning solar power but also in a general way. Topics include Energy Planning, Energy Transition, Regulation, Energy Market, Business Models, Renewable Energy, Electric Mobility, Consumers, among others.
