R&D Nester visited by international Energy expert
Dr. Zhe Chen, professor of energy department at Aalborg University Denmark, visited Nester on 20th February. Both parties introduced relevant research area and discussed about developing possible cooperation within the European activities of State Grid and EU project applications, such as EU Horizon 2020 on Energy.
Dr. Chen has been a Professor at Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark since 2002. His background is electrical engineering, and work mainly on modern power systems and renewable energy applications, covering power systems, power electronics and electrical machines. He is the leader of the renewable energy research group, which focuses on efficient energy production based on renewable energy sources and optimal use of energy for various purposes. Dr. Chen has strong cooperation with national and international academic research institutions and industrial companies and attracts many researchers and partners worldwide.
As next step, both parties will keep in close contact and explore potential common projects and/or project applications.
